Founded over 35 years ago, the Linda Williams Academy of Performing Arts is run by Ex-Theatre Professionals who teach to an extremely high standard due to their performing background. With their vast knowledge of the Performing Arts, Pupils are already one step ahead.

All students who opt for dance lessons are encouraged to undertake lessons in our 4 core subjects which are Ballet, Tap, Modern and Gymnastics. This is to ensure that they receive a broad variety of training in different genres. Other subjects such as Musical Theatre, Jazz, Drama and Singing can be added on as extras and Private Tuition is available in all subjects on request.

Examinations can be taken with The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), Acrobatic Arts, London Academy of Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), and Rockschool.

All singing lessons are taught using the Estill Vocal Technique.

Students have fun in disciplined classes whilst developing their technique, so they are confident and happy within the class. The teachers help students to achieve their dreams of a career in the Performing Arts, or simply to enjoy a healthy and fun hobby.

The school prides itself on providing a friendly and safe environment with a family feel where each pupil is important. We support and encourage individual talent through hard work and dedication. Students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Pupils are accepted from age 21/2 to adult, including Boys.

All levels are welcome from beginners through to the more advanced students. From those who dance for fun, to the dedicated dancer.

Former pupils have won Scholarships to leading Performance Arts Colleges including Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, London Studio Centre, Performers, Arts Educational London, Elmhurst Ballet School, Royal Academy of Dance, Royal Ballet School, Arts Educational Tring, Laban, Liverpool Theatre School, Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre, Stella Mann, MADD College, Hammond, The Royal Academy of Music and Preston College.
