At LWA Performing Arts, we believe young performers benefit
from experiencing a range of disciplines - building strong
foundations, confidence, versatility and a genuine love of performing.
That's why every LWA student begins with our Core Training Programme,
bringing Ballet, Tap, Modern/Theatre Craft and Acro/Gymnastics together
as part of their regular training.
As they grow, students can add specialist training, examinations
and performance opportunities to create an LWA journey that's
completely their own.
OUR CORE TRAINING
The heart of LWA.
Our Saturday Core Training Programme is where every student's LWA journey begins.
Students train alongside other of a similar age, developing progressively through
the school while building friendships, confidence and skills across multiple disciplines.

Core training is just the beginning
Once students are part of LWA, they can choose from an extensive programme of additional training, examinations and performance opportunities. This allows every student to shape their experience around their interests, ambitions and goals.
EXAM TRAINING
For students who want to develop their technique further and work towards recognised qualifications.
Additional examination classes are available across a range of genres.
RAD, IDTA, ISTD, LAMDA
Ofqual regulated exams offering UCAS points at higher levels
PERFORMANCE TEAM
For students who love being on stage.
Our Performance Team represents LWA at competitions, events and shows, giving dancers additional opportunities to perform, work as a team and develop their stagecraft.
SOLOISTS CLASSES
Individual coaching and choreography for students taking part in our performance team, allowing them to develop their performance skills, confidence and individuality.
LWA THEATRE COMPANY
Our LWA Theatre Company brings together singing, acting and dance, developing confident, versatile performers.
Students also have the exciting opportunity to take part in our bi-annual musical.
